Advertising in The Hockley Flyer (which is an A5 size publication) has several different sections including Display and Recruitment (same rates) plus Small Ads (which are boxed adverts in the classified section) and are based on 1, 3, 6 and 12 month inclusive deals, plus the Classified lineage section.

Display and Recruitment
Our advertisements start at an 1/8 page and can go up to double page spreads depending on your requirements, either making a splash with a one off or long term advertising for 12 months or even longer, our prices are based on 1, 3 6 or 12 insertions and the price drops the more you book, and copy can be changed if received in plenty of time for the next issue.

Front Cover
The front cover of The Hockley Flyer is a prime position, and must be mostly photographic in content. We only usually allow companies who have advertised previously with us (Display) to take the front cover and have an account with us. Front covers can only be booked once in any three month period, and each cover MUST be totally different from the previous ones with no repeat copy over a 12 month period. Covers that are deemed inappropriate as covers such as not enough photographic content or/and  poor design will not be accepted as suitable for the front cover. To check availability click here.
Fold out cover - This is something new and can either be a front cover plus 3 inside pages which includes the inside cover, or just the inside cover plus two pages where the inside cover folds out to reveal them. The April 2010 issue shows a good example of a 4 page fold out cover.

Other Special Positions
The back page is fully booked at the moment as is the inside back cover. The inside front cover we do not sell in case of fold out front covers, where the inside front cover can be part of a three or four page section with or without the front cover.

File Format:

The preferred file format these days is PDF, but images should be embedded high resolution (300dpi) CMYK and all fonts embedded. We can accept advert files via email or on CD but can also accept USB drives and DvD's in PC and Mac variants. Other file formats include Quark, and InDesign files. We can also work from Microsoft Publisher, Powerpoint, Word and Coreldraw but occasionally unexpected results can occur.
Classified Adverts cost £4.50 for up to 50 words, and appear on this web site for 30 days plus in the very next issue of The Hockley Flyer. 2 insertions go on the site for 60 days etc. For display advertisement rates click here.
